This is the beginning of a new direction for my personal artwork. Automata are rare mechanical objects which combine science and art, and date back to ancient times. They were popular amusements in the royal courts of Europe from the Renaissance through the 19th century. I'm continuing this tradition, using modern methods and materials, in the creation of unique hand-crafted works of moving art.
